Global Design Project #386 | Sketch Challenge

 

I'm back with another card made for the Global Design Project challenge and this week it is a "sketch" challenge:

 

The first step was to die-cut the trellis die from Organic Beauty Dies and use this to ink blend Crumb Cake on a Basic White panel. I then stamped Memento flowers from Framed Florets Stamp Set, colouring the flowers with Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends. This panel was trimmed down to about 3" and attached flush with the top of a 5 1/4" x 4" Crumb Cake panel.

Next I embossed another panel of Crumb Cake 2 1/4" x 4" with the Tasteful Textiles 3D Embossing Folder and attached it to the bottom of the previous panel, added a strip of Basic Black 4" x 1  1/4" to cover the join and wrapped a strip of the Natural Finish Ribbon around, securing behind. 

To complete the card, I die-cut a Basic Black butterfly and added a few pearls and attached the Memento stamped sentiment with some scattered pearls.
