Color Fusers Blog Hop March 2021

Wow, I can't believe I'm posting the March 2021 colour challenge already!

In all honesty, these were by far the hardest colours to work with. I tried a dozen or so ideas over a week before I settled on these two cards - a masculine and feminine card:

Both cards are fairly simple with minimal stamping and just a little die-cutting. The first card I completed was the Stitched Triangle card - I found some Designer Series Paper in the colours I needed and just die-cut lots of different sizes and began randomly attaching them to a piece of Basic White embossed with the 3D Embossing Folder. I completed the card by layering on Seaside Spray with an Early Espresso card base and a sentiment from the Approaching Perfection stamp set (Sale-A-Bration item).

For the second card I chose the Welcoming Windows Bundle to design a clean looking feminine card. The vase is stamped with Early Espresso and the flowers were stamped with Gray Granite and Seaside Spray, mounted over a little light ink blending and a strip of embossed Basic White. I coloured the Rhinestone Basic Jewels with Dark Seaside Spray Stampin' Blends. The sentiment from Heal Your Heart (also a Sale-a-Bration item) was stamped with Gray Granite.

Well that's it for another month - thanks for stopping by, and please continue to hop along to see all the other fabulous projects.
