Peony Garden Half Sheet Wonder Cards

Hello again

I recently received a lovely email asking if I could make up a One Sheet Wonder for the Peony Garden suite, and after thinking about it for a couple of days, I came up with this "Half Sheet Wonder" collection of cards ... just for something different!

I started by using my grid paper to work out the pieces I wanted to trim using only a 6" x 12" piece of the black floral image from the Peony Garden Designer Series Paper.  I then trimmed the exact pieces in Pool Party cardstock and began arranging them until I was happy with the final placement of the pieces. Next I stamped a bunch of flowers with both Pool Party and Memento and some leaves from Forever Fern using Just Jade, which compliments the Pool Party so perfectly.

There are six (6) cards in the set and they have been designed with the option of using different sheets of DSP and coloured cardstock. All the sentiments are from the Prized Peony stamp set and die-cut using the Tasteful Label Dies. I also trimmed some strips of Very Vanilla Scalloped Lace Trim which I coloured with Pool Party Stampin Blends. You can find a full product list below.

Snowflake Splendor One Sheet Wonder Cards

I was working on some autumn leafy type cards but just couldn't get into it so decided to pick up my favourite goodies and try a 6" x 6" One Sheet Wonder to make these four sparkly Christmas cards.

Winter Wonderland Sampler

 

Brrr ... it is so chilly here on the east coast of Australia today - we're experiencing a Polar blast from the Arctic and I think that is what inspired me to create this Winter Wonderland Sampler.

For this 12" x 12" sampler project, I have used a number of new items soon to be released in the Stampin' Up! Aug-Dec 2020 Mini Catalogue, along with some current stamp sets and dies.

As with most of my projects, I kept to the rule of three with my colours - Misty Moonlight, Balmy Blue and Whisper White, with a little Silver Foil and Balmy Blue Glimmer Paper for some sparkle.

Poinsettia Splendor Cards

Today's cards really have the WOW!! factor - thanks to some gorgeous products soon to be released in the Stampin' Up! August-December 2020 Mini Catalogue.

I have made a flower pot card, which I have never made before, a two-way fun fold and a standard card. I started by choosing one sheet from the Snowflake Splendor Designer Series Paper and pairing this with the Poinsettia Petals Bundle.

The flowers on the flower pot card are die-cut and embossed, and gently blended with Balmy Blue Inkpad. The flowers on the other two cards and white heat embossed and die-cut with a combination of Whisper White leaves, Silver Foil and Balmy Blue Glimmer Paper flower centres. Flowers were finished off with the brilliant Blue Adhesive-Backed Gems.
